Nelson Blanchard CD

My inspiration for becoming a professional musician came at a very early age watching bands perform at my father’s nightclub in Pierre Part, LA.  I started banging on my father’s upright piano and at the age of 10, started performing with The Richard Brothers on a Wurlitzer electric piano.  Thru the years, I’ve also developed a passion for songwriting and have owned Techno Sound Recording Studio since 1982.  Now, after recording 150 albums for other artists, I’m finally recording my own albums!

I followed my dream of being a singer-songwriter and had the privilege of working with many fine artists, like Britney Spears, Lane Hardy, the Goo Goo Dolls, Marty Raybon,  Kyper, Toussaint McCall, Wayne Toups, LeRoux,  Kenny Neal, Tab Benoit and Jamie Lynn Spears.  I write songs, co-write songs and produce them in my studio.  

I find inspiration all around me.  I try to make my music representative of myself and my generation. I love music of nearly all genres!
